Enjoy the process of continuous evolution and growth
Engineered Bodies Weightlifting Club (EBW) is an officially registered weightlifting club with BCWA.
Learn how to correctly execute the proper technique of the snatch and clean and jerk from our highly qualified and experienced weightlifting coaches. Our programming integrates assistance exercise from several disciplines including calisthenics, bodybuilding, and powerlifting to help you increase strength, improve mobility, and become a technically proficient weightlifter.
If you’re a member of BCWA, compete in the sport of weightlifting, or an experienced athlete looking to take your weightlifting to the next level, you can join us for some heavy lifting and good times by becoming a member.
How to get started:
All members new to our Weightlifting program start with three private On-Boarding sessions where our coaches assess your joint mobility limitations, teach you individualized mobility exercises you need to eliminate those limitations, as well as coach you through the classic lifts and a number of accessory exercises that are programmed in our generalized club programming. After you complete the 3-private sessions, you get access to the Weightlifting programming published to members via the TrainHeroic mobile app. You will then sign up for the “Coach Guided Training (CGT)” times on our schedule that work best for you through a separate mobile app called Pike13.

Frequently Asked Questions
A: The weightlifting program is 3x training sessions per week meaning there is no need to train additional days if you’re following that program. Ideally, these three training sessions per week can be scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday or Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday for example. Our club members typically train on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 4:30pm-6:30pm. Those are the times where the energy will be the highest so plan to train during those times. If those times don’t work for you, you’ll still have access to train during all Coach Guided Training times on our schedule.
Q: What if I want to train more than 3x training sessions per week?
A: Included in the weightlifting membership is access to our Saturday morning Movement & Mobility class. Plan to attend this very important class as it will help you improve your mobility, help you recover, and would complement the 3x/week weightlifting programming very well for long-term development.
Q: What is the difference between the weightlifting training and Coach Guided Training times?
A: The weightlifting program is communicated to members via the TrainHeroic mobile app. All Coach Guided Training times is where you train your weightlifting program in a group setting under the guidance and coaching of the coach scheduled for that hour.
Our Coach Guided Training times are simply “class times” where you’d train your specific program alongside members who may have different memberships from you. For example, at any one particular Coach Guided Training time you register for, there may be clients in attendance with their own custom programs, clients following the Functional Fitness program, clients who are competitive weightlifters following a competition preparation program, and clients following the weightlifting club program. It creates an interesting and diverse environment where everyone is working on their own goals in a positive and encouraging group setting.
Q: What if I want to train weightlifting more than the pre-designed 3x training sessions per week because I have specific goals?
A: The most appropriate thing to do in this case is to choose the Custom Program membership so that a coach can design you a program that will best fit your training availability and better assist you in achieving your specific weightlifting goals.
